"Yeah, it... it sure sounds like that," he agreed, voice small. Almost shyly his hand found Renakir's sleeve, grabbing it and tugging his brother closer. "They either salvaged all of that from abandoned Tal Shiar bases, or... or were given, traded these items. I haven't felt such fear in a long time..."
He then laughed, a sudden sound, shaking his head.
"And you know what? That wasn't the worse part. The worst part were the laboratories. Gods... they had mutants there. A hatham, sailback, a vivver... they mutilated Mol'Rihan's fauna, the bastards!" he shouted, immediately covering his mouth with his palm. "Sorry... sorry, I didn't mean to yell. But also, the creatures had the traits of a warrigul. Remember those? Terrifying canines with too much teeth? Gods, they just... they just grabbed all of the most dangerous Romulan animals, huh... Can you see the worrying pattern, dinam?"
He put his smoothie - delicious, by the way - on the table, standing up.
"And then there was an alien. He's a... he's a telepath. And while he was forced to fight us and was a victim of this situation, it still wasn't pretty." he looked his brother in the eyes, his own pupils blown wide, limbs still shaky. "He showed me the past that could have been. I... wanted to stay there. But didn't. And now my head, and soul, are... hurting."
An understatement.
"But I want to go. I think I will feel better when surrounded by people. So, um... give me a few minutes, okay? Okay!" he clapped the Reman on his back, quickly moving towards the bathroom. Speedrun time.
